For maintenance, gently remove loose dirt and follow the manufacturer’s fabric-cleaning instructions. If the canopy becomes wet, allow it to dry when conditions permit before leaving it retracted for an extended period.

The awning features a powder-coated aluminium frame designed to support its retractable polyester canopy.

When extended, the folding arms hold the shade away from the supporting wall. Meanwhile, the arms fold towards the building when the awning retracts.

Important motor compatibility notice: This awning is not compatible with the 230V Folding Arm Awning Replacement Motor with Remote 40Nm specified by the supplier. The manufacturer does not recommend purchasing these products for use together.

Wall Mounting and Professional Installation Requirements

This folding-arm awning requires secure attachment to a structurally suitable wall using appropriate mounting brackets and fixings.

The supplied fixings are intended for brick and concrete walls only. However, wall condition and construction vary, so these fixings are not automatically suitable for every brick or concrete surface.

Professional installation: For safety reasons, the manufacturer strongly recommends using a qualified builder. A suitable professional should assess the supporting wall, mounting positions, fixings and installation clearances before fitting the awning.

Other wall types: Timber framing, lightweight cladding, hollow masonry and other structures may require different fixings or structural reinforcement. Seek professional advice before installation.

Measurements: The listed 2m x 1.5m dimensions include brackets. Confirm the exact mounting width, outward projection and fixing positions against the manufacturer’s installation instructions before ordering.

Wind and weather safety: Retract the canopy during windy conditions, storms, heavy rain and severe weather. Never leave the extended awning unattended. The supplier has not provided a tested operating wind rating.

Do not hang plants, lighting or other additional loads from the folding arms unless the manufacturer specifically permits them.

Free delivery: Available to eligible Australian capital cities, excluding Darwin.
Regional and remote areas: A $30 flat delivery fee applies to eligible locations within our delivery network.

Do You Deliver to Regional and Remote Areas?

Yes. We deliver to many regional and remote areas across our serviced states. A $30 flat delivery fee applies to eligible locations.

The Northern Territory is excluded from our delivery network. Other remote destinations may also be excluded where delivery services are unavailable.

How Long Does Delivery Take?

Tracking information may not appear immediately after dispatch. Depending on the carrier, it can take some time for the first tracking update to appear.

Will My Items Be Sent in One Package?

For logistical reasons, items in the same order may be dispatched in separate packages and may arrive on different days.

Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation of your order before it has been dispatched.

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can check its status.

Once an order has been dispatched, we generally cannot cancel it for change-of-mind reasons. However, this does not affect any cancellation, refund or other rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

Delivery Timeframes and Orders Not Received

Delivery timeframes displayed on our website are estimates based on normal carrier operations.

Our usual dispatch time is 1–3 business days, followed by the estimated delivery timeframe for your location.

In rare circumstances, delivery may take up to 25 business days after dispatch due to carrier delays, severe weather or peak delivery periods.

If your order has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier and keep you informed.

If an item is confirmed lost in transit or cannot be delivered, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, including a replacement or refund as required under Australian Consumer Law.

Your statutory rights are not limited by our estimated delivery timeframes.

Faulty, Damaged, Missing Parts or Incorrect Items

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, with missing parts, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us so we can investigate and arrange an appropriate solution.

Depending on the issue and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, remedies may include:

For a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you are generally entitled to choose between a refund and replacement. For a minor failure, we may initially arrange a repair, replacement or refund as permitted by law.

Providing photographs can help us assess and resolve issues more quickly, but photographs are not a mandatory condition for exercising your statutory consumer rights.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind about a purchase, we may accept a return at our discretion. Change-of-mind returns are not guaranteed.

Where a change-of-mind return is approved, the following conditions generally apply:

The item must be unused and unassembled.
The item must be in its original packaging and in resaleable condition.
Return postage or shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Any original delivery charges paid are generally non-refundable.
A 10% restocking fee applies to approved change-of-mind returns.

We generally do not accept change-of-mind returns for products that have been used, assembled, damaged after delivery or are no longer in their original condition.

Important: These conditions, including the restocking fee, apply only to discretionary change-of-mind returns. They do not apply where a customer is entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Return Postage Costs

Faulty, damaged or incorrect products: Where a product fails to meet consumer guarantees, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs as required under Australian Consumer Law.

For large, heavy or difficult-to-transport products, we will arrange collection where required by law.

Approved change-of-mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and arranging the return unless otherwise agreed.

How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are generally processed to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed upon.

We aim to process approved refunds promptly. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take several additional business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Any refund required under Australian Consumer Law will be provided within the applicable legal requirements and without unreasonable delay.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) – Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If a product is faulty, unsafe, significantly different from its description or not fit for its intended purpose, you may be entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

These statutory rights apply independently of any manufacturer warranty, supplier warranty or additional product guarantee offered by Vartiss Store.

Our change-of-mind conditions, restocking fees and packaging requirements do not limit these rights.

Our products may be dispatched from different warehouses, so returning an item without confirming the return location may cause delays.
